Presentation to Westmead Childrens Hospital Cancer Research UnitOn 15/8/2012 Lions Club of West Pennant Hills Cherrybrook presented a cheque to the Westmead ORU on behalf of the Foundation and the Club, a cheque to enable them to purchase much needed two Orbital Incubators in replacement of worn-out units. Prof Byrne said we came to their rescue at the right time. The Incubators mimic what happens in our tummies as we constantly grow bacteria & this enables them to greatly accelerate this side of their research.
